I started photography in 2012 shortly before I started dating my husband. I started off photographing horses, standing still, eating grass, running, you name it. My love grew and I found my passion and my true reason for loving photography. As a child photography was just not something our family did and when we did it was not often. I cherish the few portraits we have and wish there were more. I vowed to myself and my daughter, she would have so many photographs to spark memories and we do for sure have photographs.
ABSOLUTELY! I have a back up camera, SD cards, flashes, lenses, you name it I have two or three of the most important equipment required for quality photography.
Really, I am just go with the flow. If you want to text, I'm down with that, if you want to call or email, I am good with that too. I do use a project flow and most my initial communication does come from there, just so I can keep your project flowing perfectly and in order. But my quick reminders, etc, will come by phone or text in most cases.
I guide my clients, and I adapt the level of prompting to each individual. I interact with everyone naturally by giving fun and exciting things to do together. It's never a dull moment!
Typically I have a two to three week turn around on my work flow. Volume and the time of year may play a factor. I like to say 2 weeks and deliver earlier if I am able. If there is a time crunch and you need your photographs like, yesterday, just let me know and we can chat.
I upload images to a digital gallery where the clients will have access to download their images to a laptop or desktop. Prints are usually hand delivered in they live locally. If they do not, not a worry, I will carefully package them and mail them.
I ask my clients what they prefer as far as editing style. Do you like black and whites, light and airy, warm? I will do what fits your style. I love expressing myself through different editing styles.
Never, you are hiring me to do all the work for you, I relish in the steps that it takes to upload images, retouch, download finished images, then upload to galleries, I love every step of this boutique experience and I want you to have the masterpiece of the artist, not the clay from where it began.
Yes, I certainly encourage you to please post them online and make sure to always give me credit as the photographer, this shows people that you are excited and over the moon happy with my work.
In short, yes. You own the right to print the images where ever you like. However, I prefer you allow me to print them on quality soft touch paper where I can guarantee the color and quality that will last years to come.
I store all of my photography on an external hard drive. When that hard drive fills up, it goes in the safe. They may stay there for years in the vault.
No worries, I work to reschedule clients as quickly as possible during the week after or at a time that is convenient for both of us.
My goal is to always deliver images that portray your BEST self! You are beautiful, inside and out, and never doubt that, but being truthful, there are things on my personal images that I touch up to help boost my confidence, and I will do the same for you. I will not drastically change body image, hair type, etc. You do you! and you are BEAUTIFUL!

Yes, I would love to work closely with you and your planner to make sure that we all have plenty of time to capture this so special day for you.
Yes and no, if you have specific "must have" images, we include those in your wedding planning questionnaire. For family session, no, I don't use a shot list, but I do welcome clients to share Pinterest inspiration boards with me so I can get a feel of what you are looking for and I always double check with every client before we end the session to make sure that I have covered all of the shots they envisioned.
If it's pretty local, I don't charge anything but if its more than 25 miles, I charge .58 per mile.
If your wedding continues later than expected, you may hire me for additional hours based on an hourly rate. However, I can not guarantee coverage with a second photographer as they are contracted and may have other obligations.
Yes, I do have a preferred second shooter that I contract with for events that require more than one photographer.
Yes, my portfolio will showcase my ability and competency of shooting in dark light situations. I especially love silhouettes in from of car lights. Check out Kelly and Anthony's wedding in my blog.
I mean, what kind of bad weather are we talking about here? LOL Hurricane? no, light rain, yes! I have a goofy looking umbrella that sits on my head that keeps my equipment from getting wet.
