FAQ's
-
How do I reserve a rabbit or get on your waiting list?Just go to "Waiting List" in the top left. Complete the information and I will be in touch.
-
How much are your rabbits? Our rabbits vary in cost depending on breed, conformation, color and sex.
-
When do you accept deposits for your kits?I accept deposits as soon as I have sexed the kits two to three times in a row. This means I will start contacting the waitlist around 6-7 weeks. A 50% Deposits is required to hold your kit. Remainder due on the day of transfer, or 5 days before transport.
-
At what age do you sell rabbits?NC prohibits the sale of rabbits before 8 weeks of age. Some may stay as long as 12 weeks to verify conformation for show.
-
I live outside of NC, do you coordinate transport?"Yes, I have a few transport services that I work with that are reputable and very caring. Timing is based upon route and availability of the transporter. Most transports will work with both the rabbitry and the new owner to coordinate drop off and pick up. Should we have to meet the transporter ouside of 20 miles, an additional cost will incur.
-
How do you guarantee health? It is our policy to always sell healthy rabbits free of parasite and conditions. We will not sell any rabbit that is not healthy. The new owner and myself will inspect each rabbit together to verify sex, tattoo (if applicable) ears, feet, coat, etc. Our goal is to inform and ensure easy transition between our rabbitry to yours.
-
How do you document breedings? We document our breedings through our pedigree software. We know exactly who is bred to who, when they were bred, when they had their litter, when to wean, etc. "Good records never lie"
-
Do you use a seller's agreement? We do have a sellers agreement to document what you are purcahsing as well as a document source for our rabbitry.
-
Do you socialize your kits?Absolutely, we handle our kits because if you can't handle them, how is that going to work? It won't. Once they are home with you, you may continue on with handling regularly.
