Are you thankful? What has been laid on my heart.

This may be all over the place, but it ends well. Keep reading and share please.
I am sure you have heard so many people talk about how 2020 has been horrible. Truth be told, it has not been a bed of roses, and no one has to really tell you that. I hope that in today's blog you'll see a different side of things.
So, when this whole thing began, I can really say, that I enjoyed the down time, the time to sink deep into my Bible reading, get away from the distractions of life because there really wasn't anything to distract me. Right? I would spend afternoon working from home on my front porch, zoom calling people, doing busy work to stay afloat because no one was scheduling any portrait sessions during that time, and feeling a little like "What am I going to do?" "What is next?" Months later, and keeping the faith, I am seeing the economy slowly come back and people are beginning to schedule their sessions again and for this I am so very thankful.
To get to the heart of what I am saying, aren't we blessed? If you are reading this and breathing, no matter what you are going through, you are blessed. Every single day is a blessing. God never promises that this life is easy, but He does always promise to be here with us, seeing us through. Maybe your are that person that has lost someone recently, but in Psalms 145 He says "The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth."
I have had friends lose family due to Covid, just this month we lost a young youth in our church suddenly and last week, we lost a man to a massive heart attack... We are not promised tomorrow. No one is. These things just seem to shake our lives, it seems so unreal.
Because photography is such a large part of my life, when I think about the families that have lost loved ones, I think, did they have photography to look back on? To cherish the memories? The good times? The love?
What has been laid on my heart
What has been laid on my heart is, if you are fighting a terminal illness, or know someone who is? Would you reach out to me? I'd like to do something very special for you and your family! I'd love to capture some family images, and yes I know that I will be sobbing on the other side of the view finder, and emotions will run wild on the other, but I would be honored and grateful to share in this time with you, truly privileged.
Would you reach out to www.dvphotography.com/contact and let me know the circumstances in the contact form?
